- Advertising cookies (Meta Pixel) help us measure our Facebook and Instagram adverts. They are only set if you accept them.
- You are in control. Accept or reject non-essential cookies when you first visit, and change your mind at any time using the "Cookie settings" link at the bottom of every page.
- We never use cookies to sell your information.
1. About this notice
This notice explains how CALMH UK Ltd ("CALMH UK", "we", "us", "our") uses cookies and similar technologies on our website, www.calmhuk.com. It explains what they are, why we use them, and how you can control them.
CALMH UK Ltd is registered in England and Wales (company number 11651220). Our registered address is Unit 6, St. James House, Webberley Lane, Longton, Stoke-on-Trent, ST3 1RJ. We are registered with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO registration number ZB592407).
We use cookies in line with the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations 2003 (PECR), as amended by the Data (Use and Access) Act 2025, and with UK data protection law. Where cookies collect personal information, our Privacy Notice explains how we handle it and the rights you have.
2. What cookies and similar technologies are
Cookies are small text files that a website saves on your computer, phone or tablet when you visit. They let the website recognise your device and remember information about your visit.
- First-party cookies are set by our website.
- Third-party cookies are set by another organisation's service that we use on our website, such as Google or Meta.
- Session cookies are deleted when you close your browser.
- Persistent cookies stay on your device until they expire or you delete them.
We also use similar technologies, which this notice treats in the same way as cookies:
- a tracking pixel (Meta Pixel): a small piece of code that tells Meta when you visit our site after seeing one of our adverts; and
- scripts (Google reCAPTCHA and Google Analytics): code that collects information about your device and how you use the page.
3. How we ask for your consent
When you first visit our website, a cookie banner asks for your choice. You can:
- Accept all cookies;
- Reject all non-essential cookies; or
- Manage settings to choose which types of cookie you allow.
Rejecting is as easy as accepting. No analytics or advertising cookies are set, and the Meta Pixel does not load, until you give consent. Essential cookies are set without consent, because the website cannot work securely without them.
We remember your choice for 12 months, and then ask you again. We also ask again if we add new types of cookie.
We honor your browser's Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal and keep marketing cookies off while it is enabled.
Changing your mind
You can change or withdraw your consent at any time by clicking "Cookie settings" at the bottom of any page. Withdrawing consent stops new cookies from being set. To remove cookies already on your device, delete them in your browser settings (see section 7).
4. Types of cookies we use
| Type | What it does | Consent needed? | Lawful basis |

How we have set up these services
- Google Analytics: we have turned off Google signals and data sharing for Google's own advertising. Google Analytics data is deleted after 14 months.
- Google reCAPTCHA: information about your device and how you use the page is sent to Google to assess whether you are a person. Google's use of it is covered by the Google Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
- Meta Pixel: we do not place the Meta Pixel on our referral or careers forms, and we do not send Meta any information you enter into a form.
6. Third parties and international transfers
Some cookies are set or read by Google and Meta. They receive information such as your IP address, device and browser details, and the pages you visit.

Meta may combine information from our website with information it already holds about you, for example if you have a Facebook or Instagram account. Meta's privacy policy explains how it does this. You can also manage this in your Facebook ad preferences.
7. Managing cookies in your browser
As well as using our cookie banner, you can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block strictly necessary cookies, parts of our website may not work. In particular, you may not be able to submit our forms.
You can opt out of Google Analytics on all websites with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. For more about cookies and how to control them, see the ICO's guidance on cookies.
