CP's Fishing Trip: Independence In Action

For CP, fishing is more than a hobby. It is an opportunity to build confidence, make choices and develop independence.

During a recent fishing trip, CP took the lead from the start, choosing his fishing spot and setting up his own equipment with staff providing support when needed.

When CP ran out of hooks, he was encouraged to remain patient and continue rather than giving up. His patience paid off when he successfully caught a good-sized fish and reeled it in himself.

He then proudly showed his catch before carefully unhooking it independently. It was a simple afternoon by the water, but an important achievement for CP demonstrating choice, resilience and growing independence.
